The 8th Annual Backyard BBQ at the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington features a chance to sample BBQ from competing teams ($1 each). The event also includes live music by The Cut and Diver Down, local vendors, arts & crafts, demonstrations, giveaways, activities for kids, bounce houses, and additional food & beverages for purchase.
Gates will open at 10am, BBQ Tasting at 11am while supplies last, Awards Ceremony at 4:30pm. Proceeds benefit Step Up For Soldiers and their efforts to help veterans in the Cape Fear area.
This year you can buy your tasting tickets ahead of time! You’ll change out your online receipt for physical tickets on event day. Bigger tasting packs come with bonus tickets when you buy online.
