Wilmington Municipal Golf Course
The Wilmington Municipal Golf Course was designed by Donald Ross in 1926 to provide the public with a quality, championship 18 hole golf course at affordable prices. A four-month $1.5 million renovation project, completed in 2014, restored the course to Donald Ross’ original design by doubling the greens and restoring the bunkers, along with upgrading golf cart paths and the tee boxes. This revitalized gem – named the 50th best course in NC by “Top 100 Golf Courses of the World” website – is a must play when in town.
Eagle Point Golf Course
This Tom Fazio-designed course elegantly accentuates the coastal geography of North Carolina, earning its rank among Golf Digest’s top-100 American links.
Complementing course play, our Down East-style clubhouse draws the same natural influence to accommodate members and guests with warmth and welcoming. Eagle Point presents a 7,259-yard journey through the live oaks, sabal palms and coastal waters of Wilmington, North Carolina. Stunning views overlook a saltwater bay and the Intracoastal Waterway toward Figure Eight Island.
Few things are more synonymous with incredible Golf than “North Carolina” and no other Coastal Carolina resort is more in-tune with golfer’s needs than Beau Rivage Golf and Resort. Rare for a golf course along the coast, several holes on the par 72 layout offer 40 to 75 feet elevation changes. Framed by Carolina Pine hardwoods, Members, Guests and Groups play the “Beau” for its plush Bermuda fairways and silky-smooth greens. The elevated and contoured greens are planted with TifEagle, an ultra-dwarf bermudagrass that thrives near the coast.
