The 6th Annual Port City RibFest meets at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and features a BBQ competition among top “ribbers” from around the country, plus live music, arts & crafts, activities for kids, hookah lounge, a karaoke competition, and tons of vendors peddling everything from yam vodka and massages to psychedelic T-shirts and dry rubs and sauces. Kids under 13 get in free. VIP Tickets available ($45).

HOURS: Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 11 pm; Sunday, noon to 8 pm.
