RiverLights™ welcomes you to the Dashing Thru The Glow 5K. Join us as we bring together the Christmas spirit, family fun, and entertainment. Experience the beautiful views of the Cape Fear River and the new RiverLights community.
Take pictures next to the Christmas Tree and meet Santa himself! The elves will be at the finish line passing out Commemorative Finisher Medals to all the good little boys and girls who finish the 5K and 1 Mile. To make this event even better, everyone receives a Santa Hat, cookies, and more!

The course begins and ends in the RiverLights community in Wilmington, NC. The course is a flat course that winds through the living community showing off the beauty of the area. While on course, participants will be able to enjoy all of the Christmas lights. At the finish line, participants will be greeted by Santa’s Elves giving out a Commemorative Medal!
This race course is also stroller friendly! However, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator.

About Our Cause:
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate children that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Toys for Tots helps less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for 3 months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
