Enjoy 2 days of fresh NC Seafood, live music, cooking demonstrations and MANY maritime vendors on the historic Cape Fear River at the Wilmington Seafood Festival.  The 2nd annual Wilmington Seafood Festival takes place at Events at Watermark on Saturday & Sunday, October 22 & 23, 2016 from 10am to 6pm.

 

The 1st ever Wilmington Seafood Festival in 2015 was a great success. We are excited for this year because it is expected to set a high bar for great entertainment, massive attendance and serving delicious local seafood. Providing NC caught seafood, the Wilmington Seafood Festival vendors will give you the opportunity to taste the difference that local seafood makes.

 

So make plans to attend this year’s festival and enjoy the best seafood, vendors, boats, beer, live music, kid zone, fishing seminars and live cooking demonstrations by top chefs this area has to offer!

The annual Oyster Roast at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC on October 21st at 6pm, features seasonal bivalves, cash bar, plus live music with Band of Oz.

Admission fee includes two drink tickets, appetizers, BBQ, fried chicken, and fixings from Middle of the Island Catering, and steamed oysters from Elijah’s Restaurant.

Tropical Storm Hermine made a quick stop in Wilmington NC overnight, but left behind plenty of sunshine.

The storm gave Wilmington NC some rain starting Friday evening through early Saturday morning, and then headed up the coast and further out to sea.

As much as we hate to see Summer go, we love to send it out with a bang! It’s a gorgeous weekend on the North Carolina Coast and for the coming week!

The weather for this weekend and the coming week is going to be in the low 80s during the day and dipping into the 70s at night with plenty of sunshine!

We couldn’t ask for a better forecast to give Summer a last hurrah.
