It’s Azalea Festival Time! The Azaleas are blooming, the weather is finally warm and it’s the perfect time to celebrate spring! So here’s a list of some of the events for the Azalea Festival you won’t want to miss!

Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 pm at Cape Fear Community College Parking Lot on Front Street – 411 N. Front Street. Tickets: $40/each.
Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour – Location: Various Gardens around Wilmington Date: Friday, April 12 – Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
Tickets: $20/each. No Refunds. Tickets on sale now through the Festival Ticket Office.
Juried Art Show Friday April 12th-April 14th at Hannah Block Center, Second Street, Downtown Wilmington. Friday & Saturday 10AM-5:30pm and Sunday 10AM-4PM. Free Admission.
Street Fair Friday April 12th-April 14th, Downtown Wilmington on Water, Front and Market Streets. A free, family event with over 200 arts and craft vendors, 40 food vendors, 4 stages, a children’s area and a whole lot of fun. Friday 6PM-10PM, Saturday 10AM-10PM (Fireworks at 9PM), and Sunday 10AM-6PM. Free Admission.
Avett Brothers Concert Location: Festival Site, Cape Fear Community College 411 N. Front Street, Downtown Wilmington Date: Friday, April 12, 2013 Time: 7:00 PM Tickets: $45/each
Azalea Festival Parade Saturday April 13th 9AM-12PM at 3rd St., Downtown Wilmington. Free Admission.
Historic Homes Tour Saturday April 13th-April 14th. All proceeds from the Home Tour will advance the Historic Wilmington Foundation’s efforts to protect and preserve the irreplaceable historic resources of Wilmington. Saturday & Sunday 1PM-6PM. Tickets are $25.
