State of the Art, Art of the State
Cameron Art Museum’s new exhibit features contemporary art by artists currently living in, or native to, the state of North Carolina.
Artists are invited to bring a single work of art to be installed in the museum during opening weekend, May 6th and 7th. The art featured will be seen by three internationally renowned visiting curators.
The exhibit will stay up from its opening Sunday May 8th to Sunday October 30th.

Airlie Gardens Concert Series

Independent Film Festival
This Thursday April 28th through Sunday May 5th, come see the best film’s Wilmington has to offer. The 10th Annual Cape Fear Independent Film Festival is a competition spanning four days filled with both short and feature films. The best film will win a $1,000 grand prize.
Screenings will be held at the Brown Coat Theater on Grace Street.

19th Annual Greek Festival
This Friday May 20th through Sunday May 22nd The Greek community of Wilmington, NC shares its culture, faith, and heritage including food, music, dancing, a marketplace and cooking demonstrations by hosting the 19th Annual Greek Festival. This festival held at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is an annual event that draws thousands from New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and surrounding counties.
