This weekend bestselling authors will be competing for fans to line up for their signings. New York Times best-selling writer David Baldacci, author of “Absolute Power” and “The Sixth Man,” will be signing books at 7pm at the Mayfair Barnes & Noble.
Meanwhile, NY Times best selling author Dorothea Benton Frank will be giving a reading and signing at the Northeast Regional Library also at 7pm. Frank is the author of Southern country novels including, “Sullivan’s Island,” “Shem Creek,” “Pawley’s Island,” “Lowcountry Summer,” and her newest “Folly Beach.”
However if you wish to see both, Frank will also be in Ocean Isle Beach at Silver Coast Winery for another reception and reading on Friday hosted by local bookstore Pelican Books. The reading begins at 2pm with a signing to follow. Silver Coast Winery is located at 6680 Barbeque Rd. NW, Ocean Isle Beach. Pelican bookstore in located at 1780 Chandlers Ln #10B, Sunset Beach (Behind the Food Lion Shopping Center.)
