Visit the Oceanfront Boardwalk Gazebo to watch a Holiday Themed Sandcastle Competition on December 12th, 2020 from 11 am to 2 pm! Registered participants will have 3 hours to create their sand masterpiece. Spectators can stop by the Carolina Beach Boardwalk to shop and eat a tasty treat or delicious meal while you wait for judges to decide who will take home the top prize!
Event Details
- Registration is required. You can register as an individual, civic group, business, family, friends, any combination!
- You may bring festive accessories/props for your creation along with bringing sand shovels and buckets. You must take everything with you upon completion of our event. The fishies don’t need a winter scarf — please help keep our beaches clean.
- The sand sculpture is to be made from sand and water only. No additives of any kind (sugar, flour, glue, paint) may be used.
- On event day, you will have a clearly marked designated work area (physically distanced from other participants). You are allowed to bring a canopy/tent for your work area.
