The Henrietta III Riverboat Cruise

Enchanted Airlie

Enchanted Airlie at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington NC is an annual tradition started in 2005, and features a stroll through the gardens, holiday flowers, festive lights, live musical entertainment. After a record-breaking appearance last year, Legos, those colorful bricks we all love to build with, return.

The event will be held November 25 to December 21 with two viewings per evening: 5-7pm and 7-9pm. Tickets must be pre-purchased. No tickets are available at the gate. Admission is $4.00 to $5.00 per person. Airlie Gardens is located at ?300 Airlie Road?, Wilmington, NC 28403

State of the Art, Art of the State

Cameron Art Museum’s new exhibit features contemporary art by artists currently living in, or native to, the state of North Carolina.

Artists are invited to bring a single work of art to be installed in the museum during opening weekend, May 6^th and 7^th. The art featured will be seen by three internationally renowned visiting curators.

The exhibit will stay up from its opening Sunday May 8^th to Sunday October 30th.

19th Annual Greek Festival

This Friday May 20^th through Sunday May 22^nd The Greek community of Wilmington, NC shares its culture, faith, and heritage including food, music, dancing, a marketplace and cooking demonstrations by hosting the 19th Annual Greek Festival. This festival held at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is an annual event that draws thousands from New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and surrounding counties.

Come enjoy authentic Greek food, dancing, crafts and culture. There’s face painting and snow cones for kids. There’s something for everyone, this festival will leave you wishing you were Greek!

Memorial Day Observance

This Tuesday May 30^th at 5:45 pm ( service starting at 6pm), remember those who gave their lives in service and honor veterans at our traditional Memorial Day Observance featuring a military guest speaker VADM Carol Pottenger, current Deputy for NATO, an all-service Color Guard, a 21-gun salute by a Marine Corps Honor Guard, military band, Taps, and a memorial wreath cast onto the water.

A Field of Honor will stand in Battleship Park with 400 American Flags to serve as tribute to the men and women who served to keep our freedom. Absolutely FREE. Program held on the Fantail of the Battleship.
