The Wilmington Boat Show takes place at the Convention Center, Battleship North Carolina and the Port City Marina and features fishing clinics, live music, food trucks and the Carolina Dock Dogs competition at Battleship Park.
The Wilmington Boat Show is designed to be a RETAIL SHOPPING VENUE. It will be held in three separate spaces which allows social distancing. There will be no VIP event, entertainment features, children’s activities, seminars, food trucks, live animal acts or areas where people can congregate.
The inside area of the show will be held in the Wilmington Convention Center and falls under the State’s Retail Sales guidelines which allows attendance based on a square footage formula.
The outside portion of the show will be under the governor’s outdoor venue guidelines. The good news for the boat show is that the expansiveness of the marina and the pier allows the ability to social distance and for areas/zones to be sectioned off and monitored closely to stay within the State Guidelines.
