Poplar Grove Plantation in Wilmington, NC, presents the annual Arts, Crafts & Gifts Christmas Show featuring activities for the whole family, specially decorated grounds; more than 90 arts, crafts and food vendors; a bouncy house kingdom and a petting zoo; Santa’s workshop and miniature Main Street; live music; a campfire for roasting marshmallows and smores; a vintage carnival game midway; barnyard fun and games; and a visit from Santa!

Kids under 13 admitted free.

Join us for the Holiday Tree Lighting at Greenfield Lake Park in Wilmington, NC, on December 8th from 5pm to 8pm. The Tree Lighting will feature live entertainment, a visit from Santa, and the screening of a holiday movie.

6pm: Tree Lighting and Arrival of Santa

6-8pm: Visits with Santa at the Rotary Garden Gazebo

Join us on December 9th from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm for a Christmas Stroll Through the Past in downtown Wilmington, NC. This event features a celebration of the holidays with a candle lit walk along a path to visit The Bellamy Mansion Museum, the Burgwin-Wright House and Gardens, and St. James Episcopal Church.

The event also includes holiday decor, music, period costumes, refreshments, a petting zoo, Father Christmas, and children’s activities.

Admission is between $10-$20.

The 15th Annual Holiday Parade in downtown Wilmington, NC, begins at North Front and Walnut Streets and moves south on Front Street, ending at Church Street.

The parade will take place on December 3rd, 2017 at 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

The annual Oyster Roast at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC on October 20th from 6 pm to 10 pm, features seasonal bivalves, cash bar, plus live music with Band of Oz.

Admission fee includes two drink tickets; appetizers, BBQ, fried chicken, and fixings from Middle of the Island Catering; and steamed oysters from Elijah’s Restaurant.

The 5th Annual Taste of Wrightsville Beach to be held Saturday, October 21st, 2017, from 5-8pm on the waterfront at MarineMax.

The festival celebrates the island’s diverse and delicious fare on and around the beach with over 30 food/beer/wine tasting booths.
